About Debbi

B. Sc. Mu.Ed Orff/Schulwerk Level II certification Music specialist in the Alberta Public School system for 10 years. 35 years private voice and flute instructor. Debbi has lived on Salt Spring for 21 years and raised 2 daughters with husband Mark Toole. Debbi is the director of Viva Voce Community Choir, an actress, comedienne and a founding member of Stagecoach.

SALT SPRING YOUTH CHOIR

We did not receive enough committed interest to run this choir starting in Sept. We hope to begin in January, please call the office if you are interested!

Students aged 8 to 12 years

Mondays 3:45 to 5:45
Lower Hall All Saints
plus one half hour of private coaching per month

First Term September 20 to December 13
Second Term January 10 to May 21
Includes one Holiday and one Year End Recital

This is a performing choir, with students being
exposed to healthy vocal product and practices.
Weekly lessons in rhythmic, theory, ear training and sight singing practices. Students will learn and practice a variety of musical genres from the choral tradition.

Learn music
Consistent attendance
Must attend performances
Respectful and focused attention during rehearsals

Minimum students 20

Fee: $650.00 per year
